Adam is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant who co-founded Humanee to create a nimble, cloud-based business that is relationship- and value-based and that puts people first.
Adam brings a balanced and empathetic approach to problem-solving, working with startups and large, multi-generational family businesses alike. As a former Account Director and Manager at Deloitte and mhm, Adam’s expertise spans business structuring, strategy development, governance, taxation, transaction support and family succession planning.
Whether it’s startups or cross-generational family businesses, Adam is dedicated to identifying improvement opportunities, facilitating growth, and helping clients achieve their business and personal goals. He brings significant experience as a facilitator and member of many private business Advisory Boards.
Hailing from a farm near Mannum, and attending high school in the Barossa Valley, Adam is a proud country South Australian who loves helping regional businesses thrive. He still often returns home on weekends to don the whites for the Cambrai Cricket Club.

John is one of South Australia’s most respected business and thought leaders. The current Chancellor of Flinders University, John is an accomplished Chartered Accountant with vast experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, and Humanee across Australia, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Hong Kong, and China.
A creative thinker, who is adept at problem-solving and building strong relationships, John strongly believes that an appropriate workplace culture makes a difference in people’s work and personal lives, as it enables long-term success, fruitful careers, and sustainable financial performance for all stakeholders.
This ethos was the driver for starting Humanee and developing a positive work-life culture with co-founder Adam Falkenberg.
John excels in business ownership, directorship, and advisory roles. He is passionate about helping organisations navigate disruptions, develop strategies, and foster positive cultures for sustainable success.
Before co-founding Humanee, John worked at PwC for 11 years and was a Managing Partner and CEO of mhm and a Partner at Deloitte.
The Director of co-working space Intersect Coworking and Chair of Gannon lifestyle communities and Sensei Productivity, John has served on the board for Port Adelaide Football Club, Foodbank SA, Guildhouse, Cumberland United Women’s Football Club and two terms at Flinders University (2004-2010 and 2017-now).
John particularly enjoys working with community organisations and finds great satisfaction in peoples’ work and personal lives.

As a people-person, Leah thrives on meeting new individuals. She has a particular passion for supporting women in business and understands the importance of keeping a healthy work-life balance to achieve success. Hailing from the scenic Adelaide Hills, Jade is President of Hills Montessori School and is a proud resident and advocate of her special part of the world, the traditional lands and waters of the Peramangk and Kaurna peoples.

Dale’s professional ethos centers around helping clients find balance across their business, personal, and financial goals. This philosophy was the driving force behind his public practice, Balance Squared, and this ethos continues to thrive as part of his work with us today.
Before founding Balance Squared, Dale spent over a decade with BCD Black & Co in Dulwich, where he completed his Chartered Accountant membership and worked alongside clients ranging from individuals through to now ASX listed entities.
With a future-focused mindset, Dale is committed to staying at the forefront of technological innovations in the accounting profession and applying these advancements to benefit his clients.
Outside of work, Dale enjoys spending time with his wife, Courtney, and their three children, often attending local sporting and music events in Adelaide.
